About The Parksville
Lions Housing Society

The Parksville Lions Housing Society, formed in 1975, is a non-profit organization that provides subsidized and non-subsidized housing for independent seniors and families in Parksville, BC. The Society recently amalgamated with the Kingsley Low Rental Housing Society and now manages those properties as well. A Board of Directors, comprised of members of the Parksville Lions Club and general public, oversees the operation and management of the Society’s rental properties in partnership with BC Housing.

Please note that the Society does not directly process requests or applications for housing. All requests must be made by contacting BC Housing online, or filling out and mailing an application form on this website, or by picking up a form at The Society of Organized Services (SOS), located at 245 West Hirst Avenue, Parksville, BC. Note that all applications considered for housing are based first on need and housing availability, not on application date.

Once you have submitted your application, you will only be contacted for an interview when a suitable unit becomes available. Also note that we do not provide emergency housing or shelter.
